#4 - Practice

Grace laughed as Ryan's spell caused him to start dancing. It was an interesting spell, and definitely one Grace wanted to learn.

"You should definitely duel Ruby, Gerald." Grace said, then grinning at her new friend, "She's really good, she even beat me!"

He nodded again, then prepared casting a spell. "Well, hopefully, I have a chance against you Ruby"

Sending the Spell, he wondered if this was going to be a circle, or if Ruby was the best in the group.

Rubes staggered backwards a bit as Gerald's spell hit her. "Well done, Gerald, nice shot." Preparing herself, Ruby raised her wand and fired a spell at Gerald, wondering what effect it might have.

Putting his arms in front of him, he held against the spell. Was he winning? He wasn't sure.

"Thanks Ruby" Gerald said. Maybe this was a circle? He was probably just lucky, though.

Ruby cast an offensive spell (score: 4), which overpowers Gerald's defensive spell (score: 1). Ruby wins the round.

Gerald cast an offensive spell (score: 5), which overpowers Ruby's defensive spell (score: 3). Ruby - free-rp the outcome of your choice. Gerald wins the round and then the match.

Ryan clapped for his friends as he hurried to join them. He raised his hand to give Gerald a high five, then considered Ruby's question. He wasn't usually keen on bigger groups, but duelling was a lot of fun and Ryan felt confident enough to keep it going.

'We could duel some more, yeah?' He glanced around the group to see if they agreed. 'Hmmm. How about Grace and Gerald duel next, then Ruby you and I can have a duel?' Ryan really wanted to duel Gerald too, but they were both in Ravenclaw so it wasn't allowed. So aside from that, everyone would have duelled everyone - by his calculations.

Maybe then they could do some rematches, though Ryan didn't know if the others would want to. He hoped so, but if they'd had enough then he'd understand. Waiting to hear what everyone though of his suggestion, Ryan moved over to practice some stances. He had no idea what he was doing, but he had to learn one way or another.
