He moved onto number 4, hoping this was right, but really, he was a little uncertain. Why was there now three lighting up? Gerald couldn't help but wonder, was he being watched?
Right, Another Grey, but it was better than the Black Squares.
His plan of stepping in front of the White Squares was going well. It seemed like they had to be either grey or white. Moving onto 3, he continued this plan, hoping this was correct. "Hmm, I wonder if there is more to this puzzle"
Oh wow, Geral internally laughed. He found a White Square.
Stepping forward, he moved to Number 3. Hopefully, this change of luck is good and bound to continue. This would really help him in the times to come, especially with how far he has to go with this puzzle, and with the rooms beyond.
He was Back to White "Yes!" Gerald grinned, and stepped forward to Number 4. Hopefully this was another White Square.
What was this, four left? He was nearly though. The three squares did help, somewhat, and it made it a lot easier to pass through. Gerald knew he could probably pass through in no time at all.
And He was back to grey. It was to be expected, at least. Looking back, he realised. He could have been going straight through 4 this entire time. "Weird"
Moving onto 3, He hoped there wasn't going to be any bad surprises going forward. This path was really difficult.
Okay, another Grey, and four was still a good path. That was really odd, but at least he didn't have to think about it later, since he was nearly done.
Moving onto 4, he paused to think about the last step.
He took a moment to think. Gerald could have walked through the central path without any issue at all. It's weird. What's going on here? "Hopefully Grace has more luck than me"
But he knew that he should take the safe path, not whatever pattern seemed to be going on. Stepping onto 5, he hoped that this was the last step, and he could just jump off after this.
