MJ Birdwhistle's Sorting Ceremony

"Oh hello there⁠—" MJ started as the hat began to speak, giving her one... two... three choices?! Her fingers danced a rhythm on the edge of the stool as she thought about it.

MJ didn't have a clue what house was the best choice (was there a book to tell her about each one?) and took a moment to consider her choices. So Gryffindor was adventure and loyalty, Hufflepuff was playfulness and wanting to be included and then Ravenclaw, creativity and promise. Each one had their merits in MJ's mind.

So she shrugged, making her choice on a whim, "Go on then, stick me in Ravenclaw." After all, each house sounded good to her and she had to consider one over the others. MJ was happy as long as she got to make friends with students from every house anyway!
