An active, character-driven Hogwarts experience set in the early 2000s. Unique items, plots, and features. Non-canon; this isn't Harry Potter's story, it's ours.
Phe is shrewd and guarded a little child, wise far beyond her years -- with a deep-rooted inferiority complex that manifests in a way that means she has to prove herself to be better than her peers. She’s untrusting and paranoid that people think the worst of her -- but deep down, she’s incredibly lonely. There’s ambition beneath her eyes -- a strive for greatness, and a silver-tongue that knows no bounds.
On the flip side, Phe’s silly once you break down her walls. She’s loyal if she grows attached. She wants to have fun, fool around, and have a group to call her own. As much as Phe might not seem it, she’s desperate for a sense of belonging.

Backstory
Phe Rothburn was born to Finnigan and Theodora Rothburn -- her father’s an eccentric half-blooded Magizoologist, and mother is a Muggleborn witch, who breathes elegance and refinement with every breath she takes.
The Rothburns have made their name in Muggle investments -- oil refineries, trains, and now on the forefront of hybrid vehicles. Despite their engagement in the Muggle world and Muggle culture, there’s a sense of refinement, and of superiority about them.
They shouldn’t taint the bloodline any further, some whisper. So, when the future heir, Finnigan, marries a Muggleborn witch? Well, there’s whispers and there’s stares. Some say he did it to take himself out of the running for head of the family, (and some might be right).
Phe was born a year into their parents’ marriage, named after her fiery tuft of hair she was born with. She’s always seen the way her father's side of the family responded to her mother -- and in the same extension, her. Her father was weird, they’d say. Her mother was less. She wanted to be better to prove that she deserved the title of Rothburn.
(Of -- of, something… anything).
And maybe once, in pursuit of that, she had followed her father into his study (the kind that magically led to his sanctuary), and nearly got bit by a Nundu inside of it. Phe's eyes locked with the gigantic lion-like creature and, for a moment, everything she learned had went out the window.
There was no fight, no flight; she was stunned, as it began to creep towards her. As it prepared to leap, she could see it -- the end. The things that she had accomplished in her short life, and her mother's tears as they laid her to rest. And as it's claws neared her throat, it found itself stunned -- the Nandu fell stiffly out of the air.
Phe's father grabbed her hand -- her weird, eccentric father had become her savior. And for once, she didn't understand why other people whispered about him -- her hero. He'd saved her life, and that moment stuck with her.
At Hogwarts; she just wants to learn. She wants to acquire as knowledge (power) as she can. She’ll show them.
