Lindsey arrived in the kitchen with a confident step. She had been here recently and she looked around for any house-elf that might be able to help her out. She needed Tarrow, but the elves were already busy working on dinner probably. She looked at her list and remembered the elf that she had found in the Dungeons. Had she returned here?
Mitsy was her name, she was sure the house-elf had returned to the Kitchen, to the safety of her friends, right?
The kitchens weren't as busy as she expected, though many elves were indeed hard at work. There was a huge stack of pots being washing by magic in a corner, but it seemed someone had overestimated the soap quantity because it was overflowing the sinks. Several elves stood around it, shaking their heads.
Dippy, now familiar with Lindsey, hurried over to offer her a shy wave.
'Hello,' he said. 'Is you needing something? I is ready to help.'

Lindsey smiled at the elf and nodded. She was excited to get this stuff done, in hope to find what else she needed. That picture wasn't going anywhere... well, it could... but she hoped not.
"Yes, I needed a Tarrow, please... and, I wanted to check ot Mitsy, did she come back to the kitchens?"
'I is getting you a Tarrow.' Dippy nodded dutifully, and hurried off to find her a high quality one. Unable to decide which was best (they were exactly identical), he brought her two. 'Is you needing one or two?'
He held them up as if they were made of gold, eager to please.
'No, Miss Lindsey.' Dippy shook his head, glancing at the other elves. 'Mitsy is not returning to the kitchens. She is insisting she is helping Albus Dumbledore with a very important job. That there may be others who come searching for her, so she mustn't leave her post. I is only knowing she is thankful for your help.'

Lindsey thought about the offer for a moment and smiled at Dippy before she held up two fingers.
"I'll take both, thank ye, Dippy," she said as she took both of them with gentle hands. Why not have both, she could use the other another time. Checking the ingredient list as she put them away, she realized the last thing was Windroot. She knew that was by the willow and she had to be careful.
As Dippy spoke about Mitsy, Lindsey nodded and smiled. She was helping the old headmaster and that was good enough for her. Maybe they would cross paths again and soon.
"Thank ye, Dippy," she said as she headed out of the kitchen. She was careful not to linger, heading straight out of the castle and towards the Whomping Willow.
