The tile became grey, which was a familiar sight. Alice looked around to examine the bocks. The third floor from here was white. If her current square is grey, it means in the last row, just straight was correct.
So, the conclusion she reached from all this is that either her left or right was white. It was already obvious because of the grey ground below her. So, nothing new.
No logical reasoning she was able to apply here. Alice could do only one thing, i.e., guess. So, she went with that only. She knew she had already covered more than half and didn't want to restart. She moved toward the right block.

It was another white square, and Alice was very happy. She was only last three steps away from the finish line, and it was making her anxious. The worst thing would be to have the wrong step now. At least, this time, things couldn't go wrong because she was on a white tile, and going straight from the white tile would always be safe.
With full confidence, he walked forward straight. Alice knew this lock to be safe, but if it would be white or grey, that was not certain.
Another white block means Alice was one more step closer to the finish line. The smile on her face brightened as she saw the remaining squares. Out of the two blocks, the first one would be safe for sure, then only one would be left. But if her next step turned white, then she could easily win.
Alice looked at the floor in front of her. "Please become white." She said slowly before stepping forward.

Alice had stepped on the second last block with so much hope. She was praying for it to be a white one, but it didn't. It turned to grey color. Now, the situation was dangerous because this was the last step. So, if she missed this, she would have to start over.
Alice looked at three blocks in front of her: left, straight, and right. Anyone could be the correct one and the second one as grey. So, he had to be away from the third one. So, the chance of guessing the safe square was two-thirds unless the correct block was further left r further right. In that case, only one-third.
"Founders, I know you want someone to solve this mystery. That's why you have left so many clues. Now, Please help me to solve this." She said and slowly walked toward the right square.
She made it. When Alice stepped into the final square and it wasn't a black one, she could jump free onto the other side. The squares disappeared into the regular stone floor of Hogwarts that she was used to, as if nothing had happened.
Now she faced the door to proceed. It wasn't even locked.
Inside was big and dimly-lit, making it hard to tell how empty it was, yet she couldn't tell where the light came from. In the middle of the room was a sleeping beast that looked rather ancient. It three-eyed creature resembled a massive, scaly bear with curved tusks.

Alice was afraid of that last block because one wrong step could send her back to square one, literally, in this case. When Alice stepped onto the block, it turned grey, and a bright smile came to her face.
The floor behind her turned to Hogwarts floor in front of her eyes. Does that mean she won? Alice jumped in her place, clapping her hands because she had just finished the game, which took her almost a whole day.
When Alice's eyes found a door in front of her, her jumping and clapping took a halt. That must be the path ahead, she wondered. She had no idea what was on the other side of the door, but she had just finished this game. She could handle the next puzzle too.
Alice went closer to the door to find it unlocked, which was good because one less thing to worry. She pushed the door open to find a big, dimly-lit room. Was it necessary for the mysterious puzzle to exist in a dimly-lit place?
From the entrance, it was hard to see anything inside. So, Alice walked forward. After walking a few steps, she noticed something on the ground. A huge beast was sleeping peacefully, and she had no intention to disturb its peace. Its three eyes were scary enough when they were closed, and it shouldn't open. Alice stopped still, without any movement, not ever while breathing. Only her eyes wandered around the room to find something, whatever she was supposed to find.
Though Alice's steps were few and made little to no noise on the stone floor, the creature shifted as if something stronger than sound or scent was disturbed by her approach. The longer Alice stood there, searching for clues, the more it began to stir. The beast then stretched and yawned, shaking its head as it sat up. Then its eyes landed on Alice, who was tiny by comparison.
The reaction was instant. It snarled, whole body tense and ready to attack.
Alice had no choice than to flee and shut the door. In fact, just to be sure, she should keep going in case that door wasn't enough. She'd luckily have made it as long as she reacted fast, even with the thudding of heavy paws chasing her.
The beast scratched and snarled at the closed door, which thankfully could be locked from the other side -- in the room where the puzzle had been. Even if Alice left the Room of Mirrors itself, emerging back into the Vacant Corridor outside, she could still faintly hear the beast. After a while, the noise stopped yet the mirror-door faded as soon as she'd exited through it.
So...What now? She had a description of the creature, and an empty room with no clear way of what to do in it. Was it another puzzle or a cruel joke?

Alice's legs almost got glued to the surface because she couldn't move them even a bit, and her mouth couldn't come out of her mouth. The beast yawned and stretched in front of her. All she wanted to do was to scream and run away but could do neither.
The beast woke up and looked straight into her eyes. Alice could take a word out of her mouth, but her tears came without her consent. The beast's snarl triggered the sense in her conscience, and before she knew it, she was running outside the door.
Alice locked the door behind her and still didn't stop. She could hear the beast's voice behind her while she ran on the floor, which was a game only a few minutes ago.
Alice didn't know what she was supposed to do. The only thing she could think now was to run away. Soon, she was outside the mirror door and turned around to close it. The mirror disappeared on its own, almost as if nothing was ever there. The beast's voice was also gone, but inside her mind, she could only hear that voice.
It took Alice a few seconds to relax and understand the recent events. She had just seen a beast, large and scary. It was going to eat her.
"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" She shouted as loud as she could. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh" What was that beast doing here? Why do such creatures live inside the school? Shouldn't the school suppose to be safe? Then Why?
Alice wiped away the tears in her eyes and walked away. She walked to go anywhere between other people. So, she could be lost between them.
