Alice took a deep breath when the floor became grey. It means she was still safe. She was almost halfway done with the path and wanted to finish this soon.
If the current block was a grey block, then white must be either on the left or right side. Either Alice could return to the right side or move straight to or left side. For some reason, she felt like returning to the right would be a better option. So, she took another breath and walked toward the right side.
When Alice stepped forward, there was a WHOOSH of blackness blasting from the also-black square. It felt like she was floating or drowning, which was a confusing combination of sensations. Her mind was foggy and she didn't know where she was. There was nothing.
Then it was over. Alice found herself laying on the floor in front of the door she'd used to enter the room. There was a magical sort of shifting and she just knew that the entire stone path was reset, which was proven when she got up to have a look. It seemed that "Game Over" actually meant "Start Again".
Alice carefully stepped on the next stone. She wanted a white stone, or even grey would also work, but she wasn't ready for the sudden blackness. Not just the floor but also her whole surrounding became pitch black.
"Aaaahhhhhhhh," she shouted. She didn't know where she was or what was happening. Was she dying? One wrong step means game over. Was it her game over? She was going to die. What was her father going to say or do? She wanted to go to her father. "Aaaahhhhhhhh,"
As suddenly as the darkness came, it went too. Alice's surroundings return to the same room where she had started. She looked up from the floor to notice that she was again at the start of the squares.
"Game over means the game will get over, and I have to start again." Alice took a relief breath. "Founders, I knew you didn't want to hurt anyone. Don't worry. I am coming again." She said and moved forward on the middle stone first.

Alice stepped forward to the first flood. This time she was less scared than in her last attempt but desperate because she had to finish this. The floor became grey which was an ok sign.
Now, she had to decide her next step. The correct one could be either left one or right or just forward. In the last attempt, going straight was the correct option, but the current time was also white. It means they were a big shuffle. So, going left or right would be a better approach than going straight.
She had no other option but to guess between left and right. So, she chose the left side and walked toward the same.

A smile came on Alice's face when she saw a white block after so long. "Thought I would never see you again." She said to the floor below her. Her hopes were high now as she looked forward to the next squares.
Next step couldn't go wrong. If Alice would just go straight, it would be fine. Either it will be white or atleast grey for sure. With more confidence than before, she walked straight.
The floor turned grey as soon as Alice stepped on it. To be honest, she was expecting it because it was less likely to have two continuously white squares in a straight line. But now, the next step could be dangerous.
This block was grey, which means the correct block should be left or right. It could be a wrong move, but Alice decided to move straight.

The step was the correct one, as indicated by the white color of the floor. Alice was very happy to see another white square. Now only a few more blocks were left.
Alice turned her head to look behind and confirmed that she was almost halfway done. Now, she had to walk the same way to finish it.
This time decision was easy. When Standing on a white block, going straight would be guaranteed safe. Either it will be white or grey for sure. So, Alice moved that way only.

As soon as Alice landed on the floor, it turned grey. The Grey color meant now she had to think before walking further. She had walked straight four times, so it would e less likely for straight to be the correct option.
Now, she had to decide between left or right. Alice loo toward the left block and then the right one. Why wasn't there any indicator? She couldn't keep standing here for long without taking any decision. So, she took a deep breath and walked to the right square.
