#18 Walking the Savannah

With all the snow and cold gone, the area was once again lush and full of life. Not that the wintry weather had done much to deter available ingredients, but Spring was a time when a lot of it truly thrived. And the Savannah was no exception.

The abundance did slow Amelia's efforts down a bit, with an increase of healthy bushes and shrubs dotting the area a bit beyond the huge tree -- the ideal spot for finding Brittlebush. She had enough experience to identify some, but most of them weren't known to her. All she could be certain of was what was Brittle bush, and what wasn't.

She spotted one that was of the right growth, and very healthy. Enough for two ingredients, if she wished to collect both.

The edge of the lake didn't prove useful in her search of Mushrooms. Not those particular ones, anyway. But she caught sight of something near the base of the tree. It could be nothing, but since her gaze was so keenly tuned into any shapes or colours that could be potential ingredients...

And further inspection would reveal exactly what she sought: a Mushroom! Only one, but that was all she could take anyway. It grew among the grass, and it was lucky she'd even spotted it from where she was.
