As she had expected, dinner was almost finished. Alice was lucky to arrive only a few minutes before it got vanished. So, she was able to eat.
Most of the students were also left. so, in the end, she was filling her mouth fast with the food on her plate.
By the time, she was finished, not even a single person was left there. Sh noticed Misuk was the last one to left, which was obvious because they both arrived together. She wondered if they were able to pack enough for MJ. From this angle, she couldn't see their hands. So, it was hard to guess.
The magical table understand that she was full and couldn't eat much because serving plates started to get vanished, but she managed to pick up a bun and two pieces of cookies. She ran outside towards Misuk.
"Were you able to pack?" She asked and offered the bun and cookies to her. It was not enough for a meal but at least somewhat.
After that, she retired to her dorm to relax for the night.

Jax smiled, glad that his brother had had such a good time. Quidditch was never really something he took much interest in, but that didn't mean his siblings would share his opinion. He wondered if Ezra would take more of an interest in sports as he got older, it was always entertaining to see how fast the younger kids interests and priorities changed over time.
"I didn't, I had other stuff I needed to do" he gave his brother an apologetic look, glad that no one from the team was around to note his absence. "But if anyone asks, I was totally there... Right?" nudging Ezra good naturedly, he ate a few more grapes and looked around the room. The table wasn't as busy as it usually was, most of their house probably opting to retire early and begin the celebrations.
"I don't know why Grandpa is visiting over summer, but I was thinking more along the lines of if she has friends over" he'd almost forgotten that their Grandpa had mentioned he might see them over the summer period. That made him all too eager for the school year to be over, it had been too long since he'd last seen his grandparents.
As the food disappeared from the table, Jax retrieved his bag and slung it over his shoulder as he readied himself to leave. "She's fine, she's just really looking forward to hearing about your new friends" he hoped his words would reassure the youngster, not wanting to cause him any unnecessary worry.
"Let's get back to the common room, I hear there are more snacks waiting" he said, ruffling Ezra's hair as he moved past him. He hadn't missed the expression of disappointment on his little brothers face when the food vanished, the promise of snacks might cheer him up a little.
Devastatingly, dinner was drawing to a close. Orla felt sweaty from her sprint inside from the cold outdoors, so she puffed at her forehead to cool it, making her fringe flutter ridiculously.
As expected, the mood at the Slytherin table was dour; Orla kept her gaze low and mumbled some condolences to her housemates while she stuffed dinner rolls in her pocket. One more swipe at the table produced a handful of cocktail sausages - her favourite! She tried not to giggle like a goblin with their stolen treasure, which she thought wouldn't win her many friends at this very moment in time.
Already munching, Orla cradled her bread-filled pockets and hurried out of the hall.
Dinner was surpirsingly short, with students filing out of the room almost as quickly as they had arrived. It seemed the Ravenclaws were desperate to party and the Slytherins wanted to drown their sorrows. As Saoirse ate in silence, Grace sat down next to her. Saoirse smiled and took a moment to respond to her, as her mouth was currently full of roasted potatoes.
"I collected ingredients for the potions kit. Did you have a good time?"
But then curfew was called, and Saoirse found she was still hungry. The ingredient hunting must have taken more out of her than she thought it would. She filled up on some extra bread to snack on the way back to her dorm room before nodding in her farewell to Grace and exiting the Great Hall.
Kassia ate more than she usually did, having spent much of the day angry, cold, and miserable. Her fellow Slytherins didn't seem keen to hang around. Many of them slunk off back to their rooms like wounded foxes crawling back into their dens. Kassia wanted to point out that showing such weakness only hurt their House more, but decided against it for tonight.
After eating her fill of meat and vegetables, she rose from the table. Nobody wanted to hang around or chat, so she figured she could get an early night in. She had more extra-curriculars to do tomorrow, after all. Adjusting her blasted robes, she strode out of the Great Hall.
