Family

Only child
Father (Christopher Perry) is a wandmaker, mother (Wilhelmina, nee Jones) is a seamstress. Still calls them mummy and papa, though he sometimes fears that makes him sound like a baby.
There is no contact between him and his mother's parents. He wonders sometimes, but at the same time it makes Mummy's eyes water so he doesn't often out loud.
His paternal grandmother Theodora died before he was born.
He is very, very close to his paternal grandfather Winston, a jolly old man who enjoys hiking, carving and his trio of pet owls.

Year One Synopsis

Thorne had an uneventful first year, doing acceptably in all his classes and making new friends. He enjoyed his first year for the most part, aside from the tragedy and drama of the term’s end. He spent part of the summer at MJ’s home, running around with her and Orla.
