#15 Hidden Little Gems

Ezra had practically skipped through the halls in his eagerness to reach the dungeons and Professor Snape's office. He was very excited about the idea that he might actually get to use the student labs soon. Excited enough that he was completely ignoring how weird it always was to go down into the dungeons.

He was a boy who loved to be high up, so going to the dungeons was a strange idea to him. He thought that it sucked that one of his favourite subjects had to be so far down there, why couldn't it be up somewhere more fun to get to?

As he neared the hallway with the professors office, he entertained himself with thoughts of trying to make potions on the roof. Even he could admit that that idea was a silly one, but it did make for some entertaining imagining!

When he finally reached the door to the office, Ezra paused to take a moment to tug his jumper straight and attempt to smooth down his hair. Good impressions and all that nonsense. He didn't want Professor Snape to turn him away just because he looked like he had just rolled out of bed - he hadn't! He had been to breakfast first and everything! He just slightly forgot what a comb was for that morning.

Deeming himself presentable, Ezra stretched his arm up and knocked four times on the door. He hoped that the professor was in there already!
