#14 - Keeping Busy

Arthur was somewhat surprised to see the Primpears in good condition. At this point, nothing magical should have shocked him, but it was still a little odd to see the fruit trees unaffected by the weather. Arthur wasn't an expert in muggle trees either, so maybe it wasn't a magical thing after all.

Arthur noted the height of the Primpears and compared it to his height. Well, he'd climbed trees before, and even done so at Hogwarts. He did wish Hagrid was there, either for emotional support or to catch him if he slipped on some of the snow while climbing the tree.

Arthur double-checked his footing every time he reached for a new branch. Ending up in the hospital wing before Christmas Day was over would be rough, and he was certain that he would be teased about it if he showed up in a sling. Eventually, he was able to collect the two Primpears from the tree, but as he maneuvered down the tree, he realized it was almost time for dinner.

He hurried towards the castle, so that he wouldn't be late.
