Lindsey had broken away from the crowd headed to the pitch and made a line towards the student greenhouses. It wasn't her team and though she had made a bet for Hufflepuff to win, she was still more concerned about other things over quidditch. Granted, if Amara heard that, she would likely explode with fury. Lindsey didn't particularly put Quidditch first, for her it was fun... Though Amara wasn't making it very fun with how she treated everyone on the team...
Pushing the thoughts from her mind, she entered the greenhouse and took her bag to a cleared workstation. She went ahead and pulled out what she needed from her own bag, which included her gloves and five seeds to replant. Once she had those set there, she put on the gloves and put her bag away. With her bag stored away, she grabbed some sheers and went to pots she needed to harvest, which included Eglower, Moonurk, Sunurk, Furpod, and Fyire.

Compared to most harvestable plants, the Eglower was less forgiving. Its stems were soft though needed a firm hand, yet any attempt to pick it caused the flower to puff sneeze-inducting, stinky pollen into the face.
Stems of the berry plants were strong, but simple to deal with. A charm or some nearby sheers would help snip the ingredient free, even as the plant's leaves tried to make it harder to spot the berries, but sometimes a hands-on approach worked just as fine too.
Sheers and spells weren't any use against the Furbod plant. It kept wriggling out of the way, surprisingly fast and flexible. The only option was to do battle with it, seizing the twin bean and yanking until it came free. Breaking the stem that way wasn't hard, no - the hard part was grabbing it fast enough.
The Fyire plant stem was thick but easy enough to snip with some sheers, yet its response to being threatened was to burst into flames. It didn't harm the plant in any way, and would die down once the Fyire flower was securely picked.
Wearing gloves made of Taffen Hide meant hands were unharmed, though a few hairs slightly singed and hopefully their face wasn't too close to the heat to suffer a similar fate. Without them, the burns would be quite painful yet not as extreme as an actual open flame. Skin would still blister and need immediate medical attention.

Lindsey pulled tighter her gloves as she looked at each plant for a moment before she decided to go after the berries first. They were the ones she had most the experience with, so she might as well tackle them first. Grabbing at the leaves of the Sunurk first and gripped the stems to try and steady them. Once she saw the berries, she clipped them and placed them to a safe area on her work station. She did the same approach with the Moonurk Berries, grabbing hold and fighting the leaves to find the berries. The moonurk seemed to give her a little more trouble, but with quick movements, she found the berries and clipped them off, also putting them by the Sunurk Berries.
Quickly, she disposed of the pots and set to going after the Eglower Flower. It was not very forgiving with her, but she set herself firm on the course of action and picked up the sheers from where she had placed them while she cleaned the station of the last two pots. Keeping herself out of the area of the flower, she held her breathe. The flower was quick to defend itself and she growled under her own breathe.
"Quit it ye wee beastie," she said through her clenched teeth before finally grabbing the flower and snipping it with the sheers. The flower was placed with the berries and again, she cleaned up the remainder of the pot so she could focus on the next two.
The Furpod and the Fyire was next, but she knew the Furpod was going to require just force of hands, the sheers would be pointless for it, but the Fyire could be snipped liked the others. Lindsey was thankful that she had her gloves as she went to make a move. The plant flamed up as she grabbed, the heat from it causing her to sweat as she turned her face away slightly to prevent it from getting blistered. The last time she dealt with this thing, she had gone to the hospital wing due to mild burning. She focused on getting to the flower and after a rather heated battle, the sheers snipped and she was sure she had the flower.
Lindsey glistened with sweat from the heat, but it seemed only some hairs on her arms had gotten a bit singed instead of blistered. Well, that was a good thing for sure. Putting the flower and sheers away, she cleaned up the pot and turned to the Furpod. This one was just going to take some work and she let out a sigh before she went for the grab. It wiggled and moved frantically trying to stay away from her hands. When she finally made contact, she gripped the steam and refused to let go, instead sliding up the stem towards some furpods. Once she was close, she used her other hand to grab the pods and gave a firm yank.
Now, she had all her ingredients and could focus on planting the seeds she had. After she pulled out her advance pot and four other regular pots. Once she had them filled with dirt, she planted the five seeds she had. The Purple Seed went into the Advanced Pot, while the Light Green, Dark Green, Brown & Pale went into regular pots. With each seed planted, she pulled out her want and pointed at the pots.
"Aquamenti," she said, causing a spray of water to come from her wand tip and she moved it from side to side to get it all watered. With that done, she replaced her want and placed all the pots in slots 41 to 45. Then, she focused on cleaning up her work station and putting away her fresh ingredients. Once everything was packed away, she left the greenhouse to find something else to do.
