#8 In search of the Head of Snakes

Torin looked upon the summoned list in surprise and then looked up to Snape. He nodded one time, slowly, before speaking.

”Yes, Sir. Thank you.”

He reached forward and grabbed up the list. Everything in him wanted to roll it out and consume the unknown but, even more than that, he wanted to sprint from this place like a frightened fawn. He had used up all of his proper behavior and he wondered how much longer he could go before tripping up. Torin had always believed in being respectful to his elders... as much as a child of his nature could be, but this whole experience had proven to be about as much as he could handle.

Torin thought to speak to Snape further but quickly decided against it. Instead he... bowed? What ever iteration he thought he had seen the elder members of his dad’s side of the family do. Then he quickly exited and headed down the halls of the dungeons, all the while a chill followed him but a grin eventually found his face. Time to take some of his education in his own hands... for better or worse.
