Charlotte took one last look at the ingredient list before pushing the kitchen's door open, she knew that she could get at least one ingredient from here. She took a step into the kitchen before closing the door behind her, waiting patiently by the door so she wouldn't get in the way.

"Hello?"

Her voice was quiet as her eyes followed the house elves as they worked, she hoped she wasn't interrupting anything and if she was she could always come back another time or just get another ingredient from the list.

Preparations were underway for dinner, though there was no sense of urgency yet and only a few things were cooking so far. A house elf keeping an eye on the progress was the first one to notice Charlotte. He gasped, and hurried over to her.

'Hello, Miss. I is Dippy,' he said with a friendly smile. 'Is you lost? Is there something you need from Dippy?'

Charlotte smiled politely at the small house elf, her eyes flicking between the other elves and Dippy as her made his way towards her.

"I'm Charlotte, I was wondering if I could get a Tarrow?"

She pulled out the ingredient list as she spoke, pointing to the item on this list that she hoped to get. It was the only item on the list that could be gotten from the kitchens and it seemed like a pretty easy one to get.

Dippy was rather surprised by the request, but then squeaked in excitement when he saw she had a list of ingredients. Not the cooking kind, unfortunately, but he was still eager to help.

'Yes. Dippy can get it.' He hurried to a basket nearby that was filled with Tarrows. 'You is needing just the one, Miss?' Dippy had one in each hand, unsure if he should offer her both of if she very specifically needed one Tarrow.

Charlotte watched as the elf moved away for her and went searching for the ingredient, he was a curious one but she was very grateful for his help. His question threw her for a moment, she did only need one for the ingredient hunting but it could come in handy when she wants to start making potions.

"I really only need one but if you can spare two then I'd be entirely grateful"

Dippy brought both Tarrows over to Charlotte, offering them to her with a shy smile. He hoped two were enough. They had lots more, but they did need them for making soups and other meals so he supposed it wouldn't be okay to just give her the whole lot. She was a younger student too and he didn't know how strong they were.

'Is you needing anything else, Miss?' Dippy asked eagerly.

A shy giggle fell from the young girl as she took the Tarrows from Dippy, they were a lot heavier than they looked and it confused the girl slightly at how someone so much smaller than her could hold so much more than she could. She shook the thought from her head before placing the Tarrows into her bag and marking them of the ingredients list before turning back to the small elf.

"No thank you, this is all I needed, I'm sorry for taking up so much of your time"

Charlotte gave Dippy a small smile before turning to the door and leaving the kitchens, she had 4 more ingredients to find.
