Grace had carefully tucked the parchment in her bag, not wanting anyone else to see it, just in case. She liked having a secret. She sat quietly, and pulled out a small snack for Marcia to eat while she waited for Gerald to arrive. She liked having a pet almost as much as she liked having a secret.
He arrived much after she did, and he had been walking down, trying to make heads or tails of the parchment. but Gerald got to the courtyard eventually. Spotting her, he held out the Parchment. "Found it!"

”Cool!” Grace said, ”This is mine, can’t read it though. Doesn’t look done all the way though...do they look like they match up?” Grace took a look at it, trying to determine. She wondered if they would need to go into the other common rooms. ”We might have to go into different common rooms.”

"Polyjuice seems like the only option...I heard you could get it from one of the older Slytherin boys." she said, "I'm not sure which one...definitely way older than us. Like, 15 or something." Grace said. "Could be just a rumor, but don't all the older-older kids have class anyways?"
Yeah, that sounded right. One of the older Slytherin Students knew how to get stuff, apparently. "Maybe we could go meet him at Dinner or something like that?" If not, they might as well practice making potions.
He thought about what they could do. "Um, why not try helping out one of the other teachers? I'm sure it would be interesting helping our History or Herbology teachers, right?"

"Hm, yeah! I like history, and Professor Archerose seems pretty nice. Then we'll have to wait until tomorrow to get all the pieces together." Grace pondered. There didn't seem like any other options though, so it was probably for the best. "Unless you want to sneak out after curfew? If we're poly-juiced it might be easier...plus if we're Hufflepuffs or Slytherins, and we get caught, we'll get to know the passwords."
"Yeah, he seems nice. We will have to wait though since the guy to talk to might be in class now, and I'm not sneaking out, not yet, at least." He was maybe a little scared of what might happen. "If we get caught, even as other people, we'll be stuck outside our own dorms Let's just wait until we find that guy, and during next break sneak in."
"Besides, its not that simple. It'll help if we have friends in those houses to get us in, without making a scene, and possibly getting others into trouble."

"I dunno...we'll have to figure out a way to get the passwords. Maybe the older boy knows those as well?" she was thinking a little bit ahead while missing some things in present. Grace was really excited to figure out what the message said, she didn't even think that they'd have to translate it, since she couldn't yet read it. "I'll look into some people for who we could polyjuice into. I think we could polyjuice into each other for Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, and we already know those passwords..." Grace nodded as she thoughtfully patted her rat.
"Yeah, we know those passwords, but still we can't do it all now." Gerald nodded. He was excited about the treasure hunt but knew it needed time. "Let's go wait until the session ends before we plan more"
He tapped his chin. "Want to go help Archerose and do dares? One we can do know definitely is swap clothes, and the rest we can figure out later"

"Sounds like a plan. We can go in the nearest bathroom and just change there? I'll chuck my things over the stalls, you chuck yours?" Grace said, thinking of the fastest way to change. She didn't want to go all the way back to the common rooms to get other clothes. Then she had a thought. "Or we could just change the parts with the crest. I think it's pretty much the same...I do wear a skirt mostly...but I do agree with Archerose. He seems nice enough, 'sides, it's not like we've got much else to do."
"Yeah, just the part with the Crest might work. I'm not really a fan of wearing skirts." He shrugged. Gerald didn't want his legs to be cold. Plus he thought he might be wearing mismatched socks, and everyone noticing would be awkward. "And a bathroom would do."
Putting the Parchment in his bag, he turned to look for a bathroom, forgetting they were outside. "Might be fun to see how many things we can do in one day"

"Alright. To the bathrooms!" Grace said, up on her feet before she realized she'd left Marcia and her parchment back where she was before, and dashing back to get it. "Hopefully more. I've memorized to the 20th dare. I mean, if you want to we can serenade the professor, too. Or I could do that. I have an excellent singing voice."
