Recipe for disaster? (OPEN)

Hanna's stood bewildered as the house elves took over the cleaning she was happily dealing with herself, looking around and trying to stop them.

"Wait?! I can do it, you don't have to!..."

But as the last word left her mouth the house elves were already getting back to work, her work space now shiny and clean. She sighed in defeat as she looked at the kitchen counter, she really wasn't expecting them to help but she was thankful anyway. Maybe she'll leave some of her cupcakes to show her gratitude, she really only needed one and they had allowed her to use the kitchen after all.

So in her thoughts she didn't hear a lone house elf come up beside her till he spoke, startling her slightly.

"Oh um, I could use some help with making the cupcakes look better. On their own they look kinda boring, don't you think?" She smiled as she sat on the ground, a leg on each side of her, and looked at the sweet shy elf before continuing,

"Maybe some icing? or fruit?" she paused in thought before looking at the little elf, a shine in her eye "Maybe you can choose? We can decorate them together?"

The young girl looked around at the other house elves working to prepare lunch, her face falling at the thought that she might be bothering them or getting in their way. As she turned back to the elf in front of her she rubbed her neck and gave a shy smile.

"If you're not to busy that is!... I mean if you don't want to that's okay too!... I can just wait till the cupcakes are done and then get out of you're way!..." a blush already forming on her face as she stuttered.

Hanna giggled and smiled fondly at the little elf, he reminded her of the elves back home; they were always sweet and ready to help her even when she had a recipe that was way out of her capabilities. She got to her feet as various fruit appeared around her, some that she hadn't seen before and some she had seen plenty of times, even grown a few.

"Hmmm how about a light yellow honey flavoured frosting paired with?..." she thought allowed as she looked at the array of fruits "strawberries and blueberries"

Hanna smiled at Dippy as she got to work with washing and cutting the fruits, leaving the small elf with the task of making the frosting. Strawberries were one of the first fruits she had learned to grow and prepare, her Grandma had taught her how to turn them into roses and that seemed perfect as a decoration for the cupcakes.

Once finished she placed the strawberries to the side and checked on the cupcakes, making sure they were done before removing them from the oven and placing them on a rack to cool.
