Amara's Plotter

Parents -- the Seabrooks are immeasurably influential and wealthy; most people with any degree of magical knowledge have at least heard of them. Amara resents her mother and feels abandoned by her. She loathes her father with everything she has. Most of her rage comes from his treatment of her, and her childhood failure to ever live up to what he wanted for an heir. She's since given up trying, but has no healthy outlet for her pain and frustration than to lash out at others. 

The Tequays -- her aunt (on her mother's side) Gracia, and her cousin Oliver. She adores them and they're very close.

Kaia -- her aunt and uncle on her father's side have a daughter, Kaia. Amara is very close to her and fiercely protective of the girl. She's 9 and arrives at Hogwarts in Amara's 7th year.

While there's good reason to fear her, Amara has her reasons and won't just attack anyone who comes near her. On her bad days, maybe, but in her eyes at least some Slytherins should be able to approach her and be themselves. Though she understands why she doesn't seem approachable and often encourages it, there's a part of her that's disappointed no one really bothers to get to know her or considers that worth the risk of making a bad impression on her.

She's loyal and caring towards those she trusts and is close to. There's a lot of heart to Amara that she doesn't reveal to anyone she feels she has to protect herself from.

Lailee Karmett  5th -- they became friends late into 4th year. Probably one of the first real friends Amara's had, at least in a long time and outside of those very few members of her family she was close to. The friendship was genuine.

Lucas Mardling  5th -- Have become close, though still getting to know each other. They've known each other since they were kids, but only at an event or two where they had to be on their best behaviour, dance, or be shown off to people in positions of power. Met properly in first year. She's since learned, at least in regards to her, he's trustworthy. Though to a lesser degree, he's still afraid of her like everyone else. Having finally accepted how they feel, and after going to the Founder's Ball together in 5th year, they are now a couple.

@nyx 5th -- There's growing respect between them and they're now good friends, though Amara doesn't know Nyx very well yet. She considers Nyx interesting and potentially useful.

Victoria Vargas 5th -- Now good friends. Similar connection to her as with Nyx, though they know each other better due to sharing dorms. 

Available! Though she'd only consider befriending those of her own age, at least for now.

Amara's personal followers who are loyal to her and her cause for gaining power, which will extend beyond Hogwarts and become her own "secret" society. She has allies in general, then those who are in her most trusted inner circle. She expects a lot from them, but in return provides protection and goal-advancement -- she genuinely cares for their success as well and wants to help them achieve it.

Elizabeth Doren  -- considering it. Not yet upgraded from "brainwashed moron" in Amara's eyes. She wants to help Elizabeth gain free will though.
Reena Ashworth -- Lucas laid the groundwork. Has been approached, and awaiting confirmation.
