Saoirse returned Joe's fist bump, realizing she didn't know if he had been raised in the wizarding world or the Muggle world, like herself. She rarely got things like fist bumps from the pureblood or more well-off halfblood students. She returned his smile, but cocked an eyebrow when he suddenly seemed nervous. Surely more duelling wasn't that worrying?

She waved goodbye as he scurried away. Boys could be so strange. Her dad wasn't like that at all. Was there some sort of transformation when boys turned into dads? She'd have to ask him at some point. Saoirse picked up the outer layers she'd tossed aside and made her way out as well.
