Oscar hummed as he heard Nova's question, too distracted by flicking through the paper to answer straight away. He was hoping that the newspaper would offer up more information but kept losing track of what each page was going on about, especially when it referenced things that he did not know. So he eventually gave up and refolded the paper.
"I don't know about others," he said, carefully thinking his words over as he did not want to be the reason an eleven year old gave up hope in the world being a better place. He thought it likely, knowing his luck to say the wrong thing. "But I don't really like him for this, and.. okay, yeah, there are probably plenty in the same boat."
He pulled a face and decided that was all he would say. If she wanted to know more about the minister or ministry then she would need to find someone better at explaining and more knowledgeable. Like a professor.
Luckily Arthur appeared as a convenient distraction. With good news too!
"That's great, man!" he grinned, happy that his friend had not received bad news after all the worry the attacks had caused. He glanced at his own unopened letter that he had put off reading. Yeah, he should probably just bite the bullet and read whatever it had to say.
"Should probably go read my own," he sighed, picking up the envelope. He still did not want to read it around others just on the off chance it did include anything bad, so even though the hall was nearly empty he stood up so he could read it as he walked. "I'll let you know later?" he asked Arthur as a goodbye, hoping he would see him again at dinner.
"See you around, Nova, good luck finding Hagrid," he remembered his manners enough to say goodbye to the person he had been eating breakfast with, and then he was off. Headed towards the greenhouses with the plan of stopping in a quiet corner for a quick read.
