Searching for more | #7 Afternoon

As she talked about her love for it, he couldn't help but feel happy for her. Wow, he hadn't felt happy for anything since coming here... Well before coming here and it was nice. Looking ahead of them walking, he focused on finding some fluxygrass or anything else and listened to her. As she explained about the gold medal, he couldn't help but turn to her with an expression of awe.

"Really?" He had to admit, that was pretty cool to him. "I've never won anything, that is really cool." He said, truly amazed at that. A gold medal... He would have to see that one day, maybe she could bring it to school after the holidays so he could see it.

"Yeah, I have two sisters... I'm a triplet... I came to Ravenclaw and one of them, Grace, went to Gryffindor." He said, putting his hands in his pocket as they walked. "She is on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team."

Listening to her talk about being on a team was fun and he wondered if she had gone for the Quidditch team. It didn't take long before he found out the answer and he nodded when she said that she had missed the try-outs. "You should talk to your captain. Maybe she could do a secondary try-out if she has any places open." One never knew unless they asked.

The only reason he was planning to attend the games, if he had a choice, was because his sister would be playing. He had known about the sport for as long as he could remember, but that didn't mean he found it very interesting. But, that was him and he knew his sister enjoyed it. If she was playing, he would be there to support her.

"But either way, if you wait or ask for another try-out, I think you could do it..." He said, pulling out his list to check the list of stuff and again looking around for more ingredients.

Jamie sighed, realizing they must of missed the fluxygrass, but did a double take when he spotted some bushes. That was Brittlebush. Right? He walked over and took a look.

"Hey, I think it's brittlebush... and enough for both of us." He said, smiling as he pulled enough off for just him, leaving the rest for Clara if she wanted both or just enough for one.

Jamie looked at his stuff and nodded. He was done, but he didn't want to say that. He wasn't going anywhere until they found some grass for her to add to her collection. Fluxygrass did look a lot like grass, so maybe they needed to quit walking around. Maybe they needed to find one place to sit and look. If he found more, that would be great, but right now, he wanted get her some. 

"Let's keep looking for some grass." He said, happy they had found the brittlebush, even if it wasn't what they were focused on. Looking around, he decided to stay in the area, hoping focusing on one place would give them a better go at it.

With Clark being done for now, it was up to Jamie to find the Fluxygrass on his own if he still sought it. However, his lucky wasn't proving to be especially good where they were. Perhaps a shift in location or a keener inspection was needed?

Clara smiled at Jamie as he sat down beside her, the pair of them enjoying the view for a few peaceful moments. Though when he spoke, she followed his line of sight towards Hagrid's hut and found herself tempted by his offer to join him.

"Sure, sounds good...might have a little more luck down there..." she said, thinking out loud. She had one more of her ingredients to get and then she was done for Snape's kit. Standing up, she brushed her skirt down and plucked her bag up off the floor. "We could go now if you want, I might be able to find the last of my stuff on the way down." she said softly.
