#7 - Got A Pot?

Hagrid's words warmed Tom's heart. He didn't know the groundskeeper very well, but his initial impression was that the man was as tenderhearted and kind as his appearance was rough and ragged. He contemplated not for the first time how many truly wonderful people he'd come into contact with ever since arriving at Hogwarts.

Tom took the pot and initially struggled with the weight, finally feeling like he'd gotten a handle on carrying it, and determined to make his way to the student greenhouses. As he made his exit, he turned back to Hagrid once more. "Thanks again, Hagrid," he said with a smile, and with one backward look at Jinks added, "for everything."
