#7 - Seeing Snape

Tom was certain he had seen a certain glimmer in Snape's eye that conveyed a genuine sense of being impressed, but honestly, even if he hadn't seen it, Tom didn't care. He had accomplished something for himself, he had set his mind to something and accomplished small goals to achieve a larger one. He was over the moon.

Holding his sparkling clean cauldron like a trophy, he hurried back to drop it off in his dormitory. He couldn't wait to go out and collect more interesting ingredients to start brewing interesting potions. Maybe he could brew something and impress Snape again sometime.
