#13 - True Poets

It took every ounce of self-control he had for Joshua not to whistle as he made his way through the castle with William.
Right this moment he was happy just existing, after putting in actual work to write a poem about a topic they had researched and now just had to give to the History of Magic professer to finish the extra curricular for the class.

Besides, making a new friend ought to put anyone in good spirits, and Joshua was certain that that's what he was doing. After all, he had made William chuckle. Chuckle! The same boy who barely ever broke the mask of neutrality on his face for as much as a smile -- at least not to Joshua's knowledge in the first four years they had shared classes.

They had agreed to try the staff room first and Joshua felt rather good about that choice. He hadn't really been here much before, usually trying to avoid this part of the castle altogether -- a habit for someone as prone to get into trouble for having fun as he was (usually with Caine).

Joshua eyed the gargoyles as William adressed them, unsure whether he found them funny or creepy.
