An active, character-driven Hogwarts experience set in the early 2000s. Unique items, plots, and features. Non-canon; this isn't Harry Potter's story, it's ours.
At Charlotte's words, Kenzie gave a small smile - reaching a hand out, intending on clasping hands with her housemate, "Well now you do - have a friend I mean. You got me!" Her smile brightened, she was happy to make a new friend, and Charlotte was really nice -and a housemate, which kind of meant the best things actually - they could have sleepovers like.. every night. How cool was that!?
She took the subject change with ease, nodding her head and humming in thought, "He does - he also knows lots about creatures too - I heard some older students talking about it, but they also said not to eat his cakes... apparently they are like rocks!" She happily spoke, glancing at Charlotte with a little giggle. She knew her question was both a topic shift and rather random, but she had her reasons.
"It sounds yummy though," she started walking with Charlotte, intending on continuing their search as planned, they'd head towards Hagrid's just like Charlotte suggested, "I love apples the best, my Dad he makes an awesome Apple Pie."
Mackenzie happily spoke, pausing to let Charlotte respond when she wanted to do so. It was far more fun, at least for Mackenzie to have someone else along for the search - plus, she was more than happy to have befriended her housemate. As far as Kenzie was concerned, this was now the first adventure she'd be experiencing with her newest friend, a search for ingredients had found her a friend.
Together they would hopefully complete the required ingredients that Professor Snape had set for them. The two girls happily had their arms linked as they left the Lake, walking and talking on their way to head to Hagrid's intending on stopping by to say hello to the Half-Giant before continuing their search for more potions ingredients.
(Small manipulations - them leaving together etc. are done with permission from Charlotte's player!)
