Dessert soon vanished from the tables, leaving everything vacant and clean. The last few staff members and student began to leave, making the Great Hall look rather spooky in its moonlit state of quiet and stillness. It was now curfew and everyone was expected to be safely inside their house areas or headed there now. Anyone who dared venture onto the grounds tonight would be severely punished.
Glancing over at Grace, Amelia shook her head. "Nah, only if you see him before me, just tell him I'm looking for him... No need to follow him, he is probably just going to the dorm." She said before she returned her focus to Jade as she grabbed some chocolate and ate some dessert that was before them.
"True... Alright... I'll take you up on the offer, but no one is to know..." Amelia was no fan of taking a handout, but Jade had a point. Her parents would never approve of this, but they didn't need to know right off the bat anyway. She could just tell her parents that a friend was allowing them the use of a broom she never used or something. Amelia hated the idea of lying to her parents, but Jade was right... It was to help the team.
Biting her lip, she watched as the food disappeared and then looked about for Tiana. "It is odd that she missed dinner... Think she is okay?" She asked as she stood from the table and looked to Jade. "So, about the plans for this evening?" She said in hushed tones as she looked about to make sure no one was looking or listening to them.

Lindsey listened as she grabbed some dessert from the table, chewing on it quietly as Amara spoke about being the best. As she finished, she swallowed and looked at Amara with a polite expression. "Ye're right, I haven't heard Professor Snape compliment anyone for their potion-makin', including ye... Oh, I've heard others say ye're good at it, but have I witness this? Nay, I haven't..." She said, leaving that subject alone as she turned over to Avery and smiled.
"Sounds like a good plan to me... I'll see ye there." She said as she took another bite of dessert and then turned her attention back to Amara as she spoke about way of repaying Lindsey if she chose to do this. The threat in her voice was clear, but Lindsey did not show any worry on that matter. As Amara stood, Lindsey finished her own desert and stood as well. "Aye, I'll find ye." She said as she watched the food disappear and glanced towards the staff table.
She needed to check on Mungo before she dedicated herself to the common room, but she also had one more thing to do. She turned and headed towards the Hufflepuff table, but noticed that Elara was gone already. She wanted to know if she knew where Hanna was, but if she was already gone, Lindsey would just have to ask someone else if anyone knew where she was. She soon was heading towards the door to the Great Hall and towards the Slytherin Common Room.
Mackenzie had always been a caring child, seeing others upset or hurt in any kind of way instantly made her concerned. Despite her younger age, she did care and did wish to help well... at least however much help she could possibly be. She'd do whatever she could. It seemed this time at least though, she couldn't seem to do much. Although she clearly didn't much believe the older girl at first when she calmed that she was 'okay'.
Saying you were 'Okay' usually meant in translation that, 'I'm not okay but will pretend to be - because you are a child'. Well, that was at least how Kenzie saw it. But either way, she was unsure if she should continue to push or simply do something to try and make the older girl smile and feel better - if at least for the moment. Instead she was interrupted by the Headmaster making an announcement.
She didn't fully understand what the whole Moth thing was regarding but shrugged it aside as suddenly Dessert appeared and the small first year brightened as she tried to work out what she wanted. The older girl was leaving but she offered a wide smile and a wave as she left, silently hoping she would be okay before hurriedly snagging her dessert as she got up to leave.
Dinner was over, but that didn't mean she'd be going to head straight to bed. Maybe she could have some fun in the common room before she had to sleep. With that in mind the small girl was hurrying of the hall and heading towards the Hufflepuff Common Room.
Jasper was in the middle of chewing on a drumstick when the great hall went silent. He swallowed the chicken and watched the head master. The Daymoth crisis was finally over? Oh thank goodness. Jasper wasn't sure if he could handle running into one of those moths. It was good that his teachers had put up an extra precaution just to be on the safe side.
He couldn't help but join in the applause. After a moment, supper disappeared off the table and was replaced by dessert. He ate down a few of the delicious treats before shovelling a few into his pockets for later.
He didn't linger long as it was getting late. While he didn't have class the following day, ravenclaws had tryouts in the morning and he was still uncertain about participating. He stood up and stretched before making his way back to the Ravenclaw tower for the night.

Finishing up dessert, Grace decided that she would stay in her common room tonight, and in her dorm. She hoped that she wasn't missing out on anything important in the mirror room, but knowing she had something to do tomorrow made her feel rather cheerful. The moonlight made her feel a little creeped out, so she went up to her common room.
Charlotte stayed at her house table for a little while longer, her thoughts on what she could do tomorrow as people started to leave; she knew she'd be spending part of the day looking for the last of her ingredients. As she was thinking she pulled out the list Professor Snape had given her, the Hufflepuff knew she could get a couple on the list pretty easily; as she skimmed over each ingredient she paused and smiled as she noticed she could get one from her common room.
She quickly slipped the letter into her robes as she gathered her things, standing from her seat and making her way out of the hall; she should be able to get the third ingredient before she went up to her dorm which would mean she'd only need two more before returning to Professor Snape.

Jade grinned when Amy agreed to her offer. 'You might want to let your brother know - in case he writes home asking for two or something. You'd probably have to ask them for a broom still though, just let them know you're paying for it. Not ideal, but it's not as if you can hide the fact you own a broom...' she added. 'Do you know what broom you want? A Moonclaw is probably about as high as I can go, in terms of helping.'
Actually, that might be a better conversation for later. She glanced around at the emptying hall again and sighed. Still no sign of Tiana.
'We don't know that she missed dinner,' Jade pointed out. 'We might have just missed her, or she ate earlier, or who knows? Either way though, she's not here right now and I am not going all the way to the common room to find her. So... Where should we start? The Entrance Hall? Or Main Corridor? I don't even remember exactly where Dumbledore's office was.'
She frowned, as surely she'd have visited or seen it often enough to make a better guess? Apparently not. Jade gave Amy a pointed look, waiting for her to pick where they'd be going. Once she did, Jade would follow along so they could see if they could uncover something interesting. The whole thing was really weird.
Oh, Christ... He probably was writing home and she had written home already too. Amelia rubbed her temple slightly and sighed. "At the point, he probably already did... And I wrote home as well, prior to dinner and sent it." She said as she thought about it for a moment. Her parents would know that he is an eleven year old kid who is quick to ask for things. It wasn't the first rodeo for them. "No, I'll speak to him once we get back to the common room or in the morning." It was the best thing she could do at the general moment. As she mentioned the type of broom, she smiled. "Honestly, I don't want anything special... Nothing fancy, just something to get the job done."
The Great Hall was emptying fast and Amelia looked about before she heard Jade speak again. "True that... I think it was in a tower, right? Lets go to the main corridor." She said as she headed towards the door out of the Great Hall.
