Mathias Sallow — Nyx never went out of her way to talk to Mathias, until the pair ended up connecting during their fifth year. Their mutual fascination with exploration and reading all they possibly can has created an unexpected, special friendship, one that Nordstrom doesn't quite understand herself yet. She finds herself rather infatuated with Mathias, though not ready to admit it, but is always yearning to spend more time with the boy. So much so, that the more books she believes she's able to borrow from him, the more she'll be able to see him in order to return them. Any further opportunities they have to share moments, the deeper and more intimate the relationship is bound to become. There's a definite possibility of real romance.
Amara Seabrook — You would think that these two would buck heads more than anything else, but surprisingly, there is some respect between them. Nyx has found Amara's evident power over a large sum of her house quite admirable, which instantly garnered Nyx's esteem. In fact, both girls are quite similar in more ways than one, one being that they each were born to a Slytherin father and Ravenclaw mother, but neither seem to know it yet. In their few, brief interactions, Nordstrom has been turned off by Seabrook's hotheaded, temperamental nature, but has been consciously considerate in giving her space. While the girls are bound to compete in the Quidditch season, there is an understanding that other houses must be dealt with first.
@tiana — In short, Nyx doesn't like the girl. The pair are like water and oil; they just don't mesh and likely won't for an indefinite amount of time. Aside from Tiana Thomas being a Quidditch captain, Nyx knows they're altogether opposites in every possible way imaginable. Nordstrom finds Thomas' disposition overbearing and ultimately grating, knowing that she most definitely views her the same way. The two hadn't spoken much their initial, first few years at Hogwarts until being instructed to visit Professor Rivera together in their fifth year in order to acquire their captain badges. Nyx believes Tiana is incapable of being a worthy leader of the Gryffindor team, but conclusively doesn't care, as she supposes they'll be an easy victory.
