Personality
Lindsey is a girl of rather realistic ideals and thoughts. She believes in being more logical and has a tough time putting on a good face when she knows something isn't going to work out very well. She is very practical about things and does not hold on to many things that are materialistic, though she does have a few things that she keeps in a small bag that travels with her.
She does hold to her traditional roots that her parents raised her in, and follows many of the customs of her home area in Scotland. She loves her family very much and is extremely loyal to them, believing that no matter what, if they are blood, they are kin and so, will be helped if it can be done. When it comes to friends, she is also very loyal, but she is careful about choosing her friends and will take months to fully come to trust them and even then, it depends on the bond.
Lindsey is known to be very calm, however, she can also be very fierce when needed to protect what she loves. She does not give up, but she also knows when to fight and when to bring peace or stop a fight. She does find humor in odd situations, which seems to surprise some people.

Backstory
Lindsey Bryce was born in Inverness, Scotland, her father a muggleborn and her mother, a witch. Her mother was Jenny MacKenzie, while her father was John Bryce, who was a architect, designing beautiful buildings. As a hobby, he was a historian who enjoyed researching, continuing Scottish tradition, and traveling all about.
Her mother was a healer and a fantastic herbologist, growing many different plants both magical and non-magical. She was known for making infused teas and soaks to help her clients with illnesses and pains. Lindsey grew up watching and helping both of her parents with everyday things, watching her mother perform magic involving daily task and watching her father do hard work for various reasons. They did not hold value in materialistic things, though did enjoy pictures and kept small items for memories - but nothing large or bulky.
Growing up, Lindsey became a skilled dancer, thanks to her mother enrolling her in a local school for dance. She excelled at traditional dances such as the "Highland Fling". She traveled to highland games to compete in dance competitions and did very well. She loved attending these festivals, and her father loved teaching her about the ancient clans both of her parents were from.
As she got older, her mother explained to her about the possibility of attending Hogwarts, but at the time, she had not shown any signs of magic, though they knew it was possible. It wasn't until she was eight when she showed her magical sign. While in an intense argument with her cousin, she caused her aunt's rose bush to explode in a flurry of leaves and flowers. Her cousin was scared beyond belief and so was she, but after having her mother explain, she was excited, though her mother did remind her to keep control of her anger.
She spent the next few years learning some of the basic of magic, though never allowed to actual do magic, her mother taught her basic motions with her hands, how to say the incantations, and about potions and the right herbs when doing basic potions. She explained that sometimes the extra information would come in handy. As she prepared for her first year, Lindsey traveled to Diagon Alley and received her needed supplies, before going to school.

Boggart: Death of her Father - Lindsey is very close to her muggle father and the idea of seeing her father gone is gut-wrenching to her. During her fourth year, especially she had to deal with him being injured and then witnessing horrible things herself. She has seen her Boggart before and nearly fell for it's trick.

Personality
Lindsey is a girl of rather realistic ideals and thoughts, though has come to learn that not everyone has those same feelings. She believes in being more logical and has a tough time putting on a good face when she knows something isn't going to work out very well, though she has learned to remain calm in chaos. Though in the past she wasn't one for holding onto things, she had begun a small collection of things by accident and keep them in a special place of her trunk.
She does hold to her traditional roots that her parents raised her in, and follows many of the customs of her home area in Scotland. She loves her family very much and is extremely loyal to them, believing that no matter what, if they are blood, they are kin and so, will be helped if it can be done. Lindsey is known to be very calm, however, she can also be very fierce when needed to protect what she loves and others. She does not give up, but she also knows when to fight and when to bring peace or stop a fight. She is a fierce person behind her wand, especially in a combative situation. Though the idea of harming someone is sickening to her, not protecting those around her causes too much pain. She will do whatever it takes to protect others around her... Even if the action is dark.
