An active, character-driven Hogwarts experience set in the early 2000s. Unique items, plots, and features. Non-canon; this isn't Harry Potter's story, it's ours.
There are 9 skills a character can develop over time by earning experience, often from classes or various activities related to the skills. Some features / locations or post-graduation careers have a minimum skill level requirement.
The adventure and exploration skill. Ideal for those who enjoy uncovering the secrets and getting up to mischief. The higher your Marauder skill, the more forbidden or advanced locations you can investigate. Helps with quests. Levelling up earns 100 exp to all other skills.
The spell-casting efficiency skill. Makes charms more accurate, powerful, and effective. Helps with duels and battles.
The harmful magic efficiency skill. Curses are more accurate, powerful, and effective. Can use the Dark Arts. Helps with duels and battles.
The Quidditch and broomstick skill. Improves flight precision and speed on a broomstick. Increases chances of winning a struggle while playing Quidditch, and other match-related advantages.
The combat skill. Improves reflexes and combative magical ability, to better defeat foes. Increases base DP during duels or battles.
The protection skill. Defensive spells are more accurate, powerful, and effective. Easier to overcome dangerous situations and injuries. Helps with duels and battles.
The potion-making skill. Unlocks new potions to brew and use, including quest-items and poisons.
The magical plant care and usage skill. Allows use of complex or dangerous plant-related ingredients, including the ability to grow a variety of seeds.
The beast tamer skill. Improves proper care and handling of magical creatures. Also allows use of complex or dangerous creature-related ingredients.
Advanced skills are an additional 3 skills given to 6th years and above, used in various post-graduation scenarios and careers. A minimum level may also be required.
The legal and nobility skill. Enhances a sense of authority. Could grant access to areas that may otherwise be out of bounds, including having permission to sit in on court cases.
The restorative and empathetic skill. Able to perform general first aid and use healing spells efficiently.
The negotiation and charm skill. May receive discounts in the WizShop. Persuasion is higher; NPCs are more likely to believe you, agree to something, or be manipulated.
